  • 1 stick
  • 3 oz
    cream cheese
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    milk or light cream
  • 1/3 c
    apricot preserves
  • 1/2 c
    lt. brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 c
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 3/4 c
    walnut or pecan chopped
  • 1 tsp
    apricot flavoring

  • 1/3 c
    apricot preserves
  • 1 1/2 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    apricot flavoring

How to Make Apricot cookie


  1. Oven 350
    grease baking sheets or line w/parchment paper.
    blend butter, cheese, and milk. Add brown sugar mixing till smooth, and stir in the preserves. Combine the dry ingredients and stir into the creamed mixture. Drop by 2 Tbs full, 2" apart. Bake 10-14 minutes watch closely after 10 min baking.
  2. Frosting
    Combine sugar, preserves, butter, and flavoring. Optional: Top cookies with nutmeat lightly crushed, broken, or whole.
