Received this recipe from my Auntie Coco this is a old family fav at christmas time. You can use what ever nuts you like I toast my pecans to add more flavor.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 - eggs
1 cup applesauce
1 teaspoon soda
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup raisens
1 cup pecans chopped

How To Make applesauce cookies

Step 1

Heat applesauce remove from heat add soda, let cool. Mix remaining ingreadients adding the applesauce mix well.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 350 drop tsp size dough on cookie sheet will be stick-bake for 8-12 minutes.
