Got this recipe from my sister. They are quite different and very easy to prepare. The topping is so good and rather crunchy.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 cup raisins
- SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- TOPPING INGREDIENTS
- 1 package butterscotch chips
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1/3 cup sugar
How To Make applesauce bars

Step 1Cream sugar and butter or margarine. Add applesauce. Mix to combine.

Step 2Add raisins and dry ingredients. Mix until well blended.

Step 3Pur into a well greased 11x15 inch pan.

Step 4Sprinkle topping ingredients on top of batter beginning with butterscotch chips and ending with sugar. Do not stir.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool and cut into bars.
