Ingredients

  • APPLE SPICE BARS

  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    grated or diced apples
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 tsp
    cloves

How to Make APPLE SPICE BARS

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream butter or margarine, and eggs, then add dry ingredients. Last mix in apples. Bake in 9x13" greased and floured pan for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with creamed cheese frosting or any kind you like.
  2. CREAM CHEESE FROSTING; 8 ounces for cream cheese, 1# of powdered sugar, 2 tsps vanilla. Cream together, frost bars, sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cut in squares.
