Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1 cup splenda
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
- 2 teaspoons molasses
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened
- 1/3 cup apple juice recipe doesn't call for unsweetened?
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2/3 cup old fashioned oats(oatmeal)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup diced fresh apples(cut into tiny cubes)
- 1/2 cup raisins (if you want i don't like raisins)

Step 1preheat oven to 325 degrees. Liightly spray baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2Beat butter, splenda,lemon peel, and molasses on high speed with an electric mixer 1 minute. Add eggs, one at a time,beating just until yellow disappears after each addition. Combine applesauce and apple juice concentrate, set aside.

Step 3Combine flour,oats,soda, cinnamon,and nutmeg. Gradually add to butter mixture alternatley with applesauce mixture. beginning and ending with flour mixture. beating at low speed until blended after each addition. Stir in apples and raisins.

Step 4Drop by tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet, bake 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
