Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup sugar
1 - egg
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How To Make angel cookies

Step 1

Cream together shortening and both sugars. Then add egg and vanilla extract.

Step 2

Sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt together.
Step 3

Mix both mixtures together and form into balls. Roll in sugar and bake for 8 - 10 min at 350*
