Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons powder sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- - green food color
- - frosting:
- 2 cups powder sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- - andes mints, cut in half (to top cookie with)
How To Make andes mint cookies

Step 1Mix together first 5 ingredients.

Step 2Roll rounded teaspoonfuls into balls and thumbprint.

Step 3Bake 7-8 minutes at 350

Step 4Whisk together the 5 frosting ingredients until smooth.

Step 5Top each cookie with frosting and add half of an andes mint to center.

Step 6Frosting will harden in about 30 minutes.
