Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter, 2 sticks
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2
    x l eggs
  • CREAM TILL FLUFFY, THEN ADD DRY INGREDIENTS BELOW:

  • 1/2 c
    cocoa powder
  • 2 1/4 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ancho chile powder
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla sugar
  • MIX, THEN ADD.....

  • 1 tsp
    brandy
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • THEN FOLD INTO THE MIX:

  • 2 c
    chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 tsp
    instant coffee powder

How to Make Ancho Chile Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Roll into 1 inch balls, then roll balls into a combo of the following:
    ½ cup sugar
    2 tsp cinnamon
    2 tsp chili powder
    1 tbsp vanilla sugar or 1 tbsp anisette sugar
    2 tsp cocoa
    Bake at 350 for 13 minutes.
    Makes tons! enjoy with your loved ones!!
