amish molasses cookies
Mom has been making these for a long time. This is not the recipe she used, but very close to it. They taste the same. My mom was a Mennonite growing up and a lot of their recipes are just like the Amish. Mom is 100% German and so these go back really far. My family loves these cookies so much. Mom sent a batch to Korea for my sweet Ashley. She was so excited and said she was going to hibernate in her apartment and eat them all.
