always soft chocolate chip cookies
These cookies are "just out of the oven" soft days after I make them (although they rarely last that long). I get asked for this recipe every time I make them.

Makes 2 Dozen
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 boxes (3.4oz) instant vanilla pudding
- 4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together flour and baking soda, Set aside.

Step 2In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar.

Step 3Beat in the instant pudding mix until well blended.

Step 4Stir in the eggs and vanilla.

Step 5Blend in the flour mixture.

Step 6Stir in the chocolate chips.

Step 7Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto a ungreased cookie sheets.

Step 8Bake for 10-12 minutes. Edges should be golden brown.
