This is a very easy cookie bar recipe and they are delicious ..

yield 18 or more depending on squares.

Ingredients

1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 - egg yolk
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
10oz - bar of sweet chocolte
1/2 to 1 cups chopped almonds

How To Make almond roca cookies

Step 1

Mis : sugars , butter/margarine , egg yolk.

Step 2

Add flour and salt ; mix together well.
Step 3

Flatten mixture out in a jelly roll pan (15x11)
Step 4

Bake @ 325° for 25 minutes.
Step 5

Melt chocolate over hot water , when mixture is baked , spread melted chocolate over all , mark off in squares , sprinkle with chopped nuts and let cool before removing from pan.
