Ingredients

  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 1/2 c
    butter or margarine
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/4 lb
    almonds, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 4 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp
    hot water, dissolve baking soda in water

How to Make Almond (Refrigerator) Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients together in order listed. Shape into 2 or 3 logs and wrap in wax paper. Chill in refrigerator 2 hours. Slice 1/4" and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350, until lightly browned about 10 minutes. Should get 3 to 4 dozen depending how thin or thick you like them.
