Ingredients

  • 8 ounces almond paste
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 3 large egg whites

How To Make almond macaroons

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or use a silicone baking mat.Beat almond paste,sugars and flour in mixer until very well combined.Beat in egg whites(on low speed)beat until mixture is creamy.
  • Step 2
    Place mixture in a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip.Pipe two inches apart onto prepared baking sheets.Bake one sheet at a time for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown,turning half way through baking time.
  • Step 3
    Remove from oven,leave on sheets.Allow to cool completely before removing.Store in a air tight container.
