Ingredients
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make almond butter cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees and lightly grease a baking sheet (or use a nonstick one).

Step 2Mix together almond butter and oil; beat until smooth.

Step 3Mix in maple syrup and vanilla extract.

Step 4Stir together flour and salt.

Step 5Add to almond butter mixture and mix until just combined.

Step 6Cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Step 7Roll dough into 3/4-inch balls.

Step 8Place on baking sheet and flatten with a fork.

Step 9Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, until bottoms are lightly browned.

Step 10Cool a couple of minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a cooling rack.
