- 1-1/2 cup date sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground flax seed meal
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup oat flour or ground oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 ounces vegan chocolate chips

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Place ground flax seeds and water in a bowl; put to the side for 10 minutes. (This is a flax egg.)

Step 2Mix natural almond butter and date sugar in large bowl. Add flax eggs and vanilla; blend thoroughly.

Step 3In a separate bowl, combine wheat and oat flour along with baking soda. Blend well. Gradually blend the flour mixture with the almond butter mixture until well combined. Add vegan chocolate chips. Mix well

Step 4Using a 1/4 cup ice cream server, scoop out cookie dough onto a parchment-line cookie sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes until lightly brown.
