These are easy to make and very good! I prefer to use light brown sugar for a lighter cookie but either may be used.

3/4 cbutter, softened

3/4 cgranulated sugar

3/4 cfirmly packed brown sugar

2 lgeggs

1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

2 1/3 call purpouse flour

1/4 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda

12 ozsemi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make all-time favorite chocolate chip cookies

1pre-heat oven to 350. Beat butter and sugars at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs and vanillabeating until blended

2Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Gradually add flour to butter mixture until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

3Drop by spoonful onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 - 14 mins until desired degree of doneness. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.

4NOTE: 10 minutes for soft, chewy cookies about 14 minutes for crisp cookies.
