7 layer brownie bars
(2 RATINGS)
Easy, decadent, and only 1 pan--no bowls, etc. I found this on the Ghiradelli brownie mix box. New take on the old 7 layer bars. Husband and co-workers loved them. One difference for me--I used 2 cups of chocolate chips and no butterscotch--hubby does not like butterscotch.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 box brownie mix, small--not family size
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecan, walnut, or almond)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
How To Make 7 layer brownie bars
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Spread melted butter over 9 x 13 pan. Evenly spread/sprinkle dry brownie mix(straight from the box!) over melted butter. Continute to spread/sprinkle each ingredient over brownie mix, in order listed. End with Sweetened Condensed Milk, drizzled over entire pan. Bake 35 minutes, or until bubbly around edges.
-
Step 2Important--Allow to COOL COMPLETELY before cutting into bars. Very Rich!!! Needs ice cream to cut the sweetness.
