3-ingredient sugar cookies
This past Christmas, I had baked a variety of 3-Ingredient cookie recipes. Especially since I had the time and these petite-size cookies were quite delicious!

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
How To Make 3-ingredient sugar cookies
-
Step 1Line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper. Then set baking sheets aside.
-
Step 2Preheat oven to 325°F. (Yes, I said 325°F.)
-
Step 3In a large mixing bowl, add the softened butter and granulated sugar. Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy; 3 to 5 minutes.
-
Step 4Gradually beat in the flour until well combined.
-
Step 5Shape cookie bough into 1-inch round balls, then place them (about 1-1/2-inches apart), on parchment-lined baking sheets.
-
Step 6I then "slightly flatten" the cookie dough with the palm of my hand, and sprinkle with a few Baker's Corner Holiday Sprinkles, which I then lightly press them into the cookie dough. (I am referring to the yellow star shaped candies.)
-
Step 7I repeated this process with the remaining cookie dough, then placed several yellow star shape candy sprinkles on top, then lightly pressed them into the cookie dough. As seen in the photo I had displayed.
-
Step 8Bake in oven for about 15 minutes. The bottom of the cookies will be a light golden brown. Then place cookies on a wire rack to cool completely.
-
Step 9I then place the cookies in a well-sealed container to store in the freezer. Then I'll just remove a few cookies at a time, prior to serving.
