Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    crisco
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 large
    egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    milk
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make 1963 Peanut Butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. combine crisco, peanut butter & salt. Mix well. Gradually add both sugars, Cream well after each addition. Add egg & milk. Mix well.
  2. Sift together flour & baking soda then blend with first mixture. Roll into balls about 3/4 inches in diameter or so. place on cookie sheet. Press with fork to flatten.
  3. Bake @ 325 for 12 minutes.
