Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs, beating well.

Step 3Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; add to peanut butter mixture, and beat well. Stir in pecans and remaining ingredients. Drop dough by level teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.

Step 4Bake at 350 for 10-12 mins. or until golden. Immediately remove to wire racks to cool.
