I worked as an educational curator at the Greaater Baton Rouge Zoo for a number of years. This recipe was a afavorite of our pot lucks. Miss all you "wild animals" I worked with!

Ingredients

3 cups sugar
6 sticks real butter,softened
6 - eggs
2 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup cocoa powder
LAYER 2
1 3/4 cups sugar
3 - eggs
3/4 cup self-rising flour
3 - 8 ounce packages sofetened cream cheese

How To Make zebra brownies

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease (or spray with Pam) an 11 x 17 inch pan.

Step 2

1st LAYER: Cream sugar and butter. Stir in eggs, one at a time, vanilla, cocoa and flour. Pour batter into pan.
Step 3

2nd LAYER: Cream sugar, cream cheese, eggs and flour. Drop by spoonfuls onto top of first layer and swirl with a knife.
Step 4

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
