This is a nice contrast to a dark chocolate mousse, pudding or cake.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pint (2/3 cup) heavy cream
  • 5 ounces white chocolate, broken into squares
  • 2 tablespoons brandy or cointreau

How To Make white chocolate sauce

  • Step 1
    Heat the cream in a pan over a low heat until almost boiling.
  • Step 2
    Stir in the chocolate, a few squares at a time, until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the brancy or Cointreau just before serving.
  • Step 3
    VARIATIONS 1) White Mocha Sauce: Stir in 2 T. strong black coffee just before serving. 2) Coconut Chocolate Cream Sauce: Stir in 3 T. powdered or liquid coconut cream before serving.
