This recipe is from Food Network Magazine. These brownies are a pan of fudgy goodness. The only things you dirty are a saucepan and a wooden spoon.

  • 2 c
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 stick
  • 3/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 3/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 4
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c
    ap flour
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts

How to Make Walnut Brownies


  1. In a good sized saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring, until smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in both sugars. Let cool for a few minutes, then add eggs, one at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in vanilla, flour and salt. Add nuts.
  2. Spread batter in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake in an oven, preheated to 325°, for about 45 minutes. A toothpick inserted near the center should come out almost clean.
