Ingredients
- 10 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
How To Make triple chocolate brown butter brownies
-
Step 1Preheat to 325. Line 8X8 pan with foil, grease or cover with cooking spray.
-
Step 2Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Continue cooking until butter stops foaming and browned bits form at bottom of pan, stirring often. Remove from heat and immediately add sugar, cocoa, 2 tsp water, vanilla, and salt. Stir to blend. Let cool 5 minutes.
-
Step 3Add eggs to mixture (it will still be hot) one at a time, beating vigorously to blend after each addition. When mixture looks thick and shiny, add flour and stir until blended. Beat vigorously 60 strokes. Let cool 5 minutes more then quickly stir in chips and transfer to pan. Work quickly or the chips will melt.
-
Step 4Bake brownies for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out almost clean.
