Ingredients
- 2 sticks soft, unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 - egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 - large milk chocolate hershey bars
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make toffee bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350

Step 2Blend butter, sugar, egg yolk & vanilla in large bowl.

Step 3Add flour to wet mixture and stir just until combined.

Step 4Press dough onto greased & floured cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned and toothpick comes out clean.

Step 5While baking crust, melt hershey bars in double boiler pan.

Step 6Spread chocolate onto warm crust and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cut while warm.
