Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts. This is an easy version and gets rave reviews! If you can't find ladyfingers, you can use pound cake or even angel food cake.

This tiramisu trifle is a delicious twist on a classic Italian dessert. Coffee-soaked lady fingers, a cream cheese chocolate pudding, and whipped cream are layered in a trifle dish. It's a rich, creamy dessert with just the right amount of sweetness. We liked the crunch of the mini chocolate chips in each layer. Finishing with a dusting of cocoa mimics a tiramisu topping. The hardest part of this tiramisu trifle recipe is waiting for the dessert to set up in the fridge.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
- 4 cups lowfat milk
- 3.9 ounces Devils food chocolate pudding
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 24 - ladyfingers
- 8 ounces semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
- 8 ounces heavy whipping cream, whipped
- 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder, or to taste
How To Make tiramisu trifle

Step 1Pour coffee granules into a glass measuring cup with the water and microwave uncovered for 1 minute. Let it stand in the microwave.

Step 2Mix milk, pudding, and cream cheese in a large bowl.

Step 3Split ladyfingers in half lengthwise. Put a layer of them in the bottom of the trifle dish, cut side up.

Step 4Drizzle 1/4 of the coffee mix evenly over the ladyfingers.

Step 5Spread 1/4 of pudding mix over that.

Step 6Spread 1/4 of whipped cream over that.

Step 7Sprinkle 1/4 of the mini chocolate chips over that.

Step 8Repeat that 3 more times, ending with whipped cream. Dust with cocoa powder. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 6 hours.
