superb brownies
This is another of my families favorite brownies. Very chocolatey and a superb fluffy melt - in - your - mouth topping.. Enjoy!! My pictures.

2 - 3 dozen, depends how big you cut them
Ingredients
- 4 - 1 ounces each, unsweetened bakers chocolate
- 3/4 cup butter, no substitutes
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup coarsley chopped walnuts
- TOPPING
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter, no substitutes
- 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
- NOTE: THERE IS NO BAKING POWDER OF BAKING SODA USED IN THESE BROWNIES
How To Make superb brownies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Prepare a 13 x 9 x 2 inch. baking pan with cooking spray. I used a glass baking dish.

Step 2In a microwave or double boiler, ( I started melting the butter, then added the chocolate and held the pan above the flame, kept stirring till chocolate melted). melt the chocolate and butter; cool for 10 minutes.

Step 3Add sugar; mix well. Stir in eggs and vanilla. ( I whisk the eggs first) then add.

Step 4Add flour; mix well. Stir in the walnuts.

Step 5Pour batter into pan. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. (mine took 40 minutes), or until toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. ( do not over bake).

Step 6Cool completely.

Step 7For topping: Melt chocolate chips, water and butter in a microwave or double boiler; stir until smooth. Cool to room temperature.

Step 8Fold in the whipped cream. Enjoy!

Step 9Spread over cooled brownies. Chill before cutting.
