Ingredients

  • 1 package chocolate cake mix
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 bag (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make self-filled cupcakes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Step 2
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions; Fill paper cups 2/3 full.
  • Step 3
    Beat cream cheese with sugar until well beaten; beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Step 4
    Drop 1 rounded teaspoon of cream cheese mixture into each cupcake.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 20-25 minutes or until done.
