Ingredients
- 1 stick butter (8 tblspns)
- 4 ounces un-sweet chocolate squares
- 1-3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)
How To Make saucepan brownies

Step 1Oven 350*, rack centered

Step 2Melt butter over low heat.

Step 3Turn off heat, add chocolate and stir occasionally until melted and combined. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 4Stir in sugar and salt.

Step 5Add vanilla and eggs, one at time, mixing well after each addition.

Step 6Stir in the flour until just incorporated.

Step 7Fold in nuts.

Step 8Pour into 8 x 8 lightly greased, non-stick pan (or foil lined.) Bake 30-35 minutes.
