A christmas time favorite. It was always a good time getting together as a family to make n' decorate these cookies.

Ingredients For sandtart cookies

3eggs

1 cbutter
-
2 csugar

4 cflour

2 Tbspflour
How To Make sandtart cookies

1Mix eggs, butter, n' sugar together

2Mix flour in
-
3cover dough n' place in frig. for 12 hrs.

4you must work w/ cold dough so only take out small amounts at a time
-
5lightly flour your counter first, then roll out dough (I always prefer the dough to be rolled out thin) n' cut w/ your favorite cookie cutters (you may lightly dust the top of dough when rolling out to prevent sticking)

6place on cookie tray, place christmas sugars on top( you may use a egg wash to keep sugars in place.. I think it changes the flavor slightly though)

7bake @ 300-325 degrees until slightly brown( they will burn fast)
