An old friend made these brownies many years ago for me and then gave me the recipe. So VERY good!! They are rich and gooey! Try them with ice cream while warm..YUM!!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 25-30 - caramels
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1 package betty crocker german chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, your choice
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make razorback brownies

Step 1Combine caramels and the 1/2 cup evaporated milk; microwave until caramels are melted; set aside.

Step 2Grease & flour 9 x 13 pan.

Step 3In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Press half of this mixture into bottom of pan. Bake @ 350 for 8 minutes.

Step 4Remove pan from oven, immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Then spread caramel mixture over chocolate chips.

Step 5Crumble the rest of the cake mixture over chocolate/caramel mixture. Return to oven and bake 18-20 minutes. Cool slightly, then refrigerate for a couple of hours. Eat & Enjoy!!
