My favorite brownie recipe. I have made it for bake sales and they always go quick. I have double, trippled, and even quadrupled this recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    sifted flour
  • 6 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 medium
    eggs, unbeaten
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans (opt)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • ICING

  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Quick Brownies

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients in one bowl, beating until batter is well mixed. Place in greased 8 inch square baking pan and bake at 30 degrees for 30 min.
  2. For icing: Melt margarine in saucepan then stir in Cocoa until dissolved. Add other ingredients. May add a little more milk to make the right consistency.
