Peanut Butter Balls

1/2 c
butter or margarine
2 c
chunky peanut butter
1 tsp
vanilla (optional)
1 lb
powdered sugar
3 c
rice, krispies
2 oz
paraffin wax or shortening
24 oz
1 (24 ounce) package chocolate chips (using 12 ounces for large balls or 24 ounces for small one) r


1Melt butter and while hot, stir in peanut butter
2Mix well and add vanilla, powdered sugar and Rice Krispies
3Work in with hands until it will form balls
refrigerate balls for up to 20 minutes before using chocolate
4If using paraffin shred on a box grater then add to the chocolate in a double boil and heat till melted and combined.
5Dip into melted chocolate and paraffin or shortening with toothpick
6Cool on waxed paper you can freeze these or keep them refrigerated
