Brenda adapted this recipe from a local nurse. I particularly like anything chocolate, LOL

Ingredients

  • 1 package (13.7 ounces) fat-free fudge brownie mix (such as no pudge brand)
  • 1 - (6 ounce container) vanilla low fat yogurt
  • 1/3 cup light stick butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon milk, fat-free
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

How To Make ooey-gooey brownies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Prepare brownie mix according to package direction, using yogurt instead of other ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Spread batter into foil-lined 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Step 5
    Cool completely in pan on a wire rack.
  • Step 6
    In a medium bowl - Place butter, vanilla and milk.
  • Step 7
    With an electric mixer - Beat this at medium speed until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 8
    Add powdered sugar while beating at low speed for 1 minute or until spreading consistency.
  • Step 9
    While beating until smooth - Gradually add melted chocolate chips.
  • Step 10
    Spread frosting evenly over brownies.
  • Step 11
    Remove brownies from pan by lifting foil.
  • Step 12
    Cut into 16 servings.
