  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 6 Tbsp
  • 4
  • 2 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    karo syrup. dark or light
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts (optional)

How to Make One Bowl Brownies


  1. Preheat oven to 350. If using a glass baking dish preheat to 325.
  2. Mix together oil, cocoa, eggs, sugar , karo and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Stir in nuts if desired. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes.
