  • 1 stick
    butter, room temperature
  • 3 oz
    chocolate, unsweetened squares
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • pinch
    salt
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Old Fashion Hot Fudge Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter, chocolate and sugar over hot water in a double boiler.
  2. Add salt and heavy cream.
  3. Let cook for 2 hours (that is not a typo).
  4. Just before serving, add vanilla.
