Nonna Rosa's Chocolate Chip Muffins

These are wonderful warm out of the oven. Smell just like a chocolate chip cookie baking and tastes much the same...only in muffin form.

  • 6 Tbsp
    butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, light
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2
    whole eggs
  • 3/4 c
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Nonna Rosa's Chocolate Chip Muffins


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

    Line 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners/cups
  2. Cream butter and sugar together

    Add Vanilla, Beaten eggs and Milk

    Sift together flour/baking powder and salt
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix completely.

    Sprinkle in chocolate chips and stir to distribute them through better.

    Fill muffin cups 1/2 full with batter.

    Bake 15-20 minutes (until tops are firm and spring back when touched.

    Best served warm with milk :)
