i loved when my mom would make these, they're so good, you can't eat just one, so watch out!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup peanut butter, creamy
  • 2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2-3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1-1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy

How To Make moms peanut butter bars

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350. Spray a lg jelly roll pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, cream first 3 ingredients. Add 1 tsp vanilla and eggs. Add 1 cup peanut butter and cream well.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients, except for remaining peanut butter. Spread dough on jelly roll pan. Bake 15 mins. Spread remaining peanut butter on top of dough.
  • Step 3
    Let cool and set. In bowl, beat 1/2 stick butter, milk, 2 tsp vanilla, cocoa powder and powdered sugar until creamy. Spread on top of cooled peanut butter.
