mom's best ever brownies

My mom used to make the best brownies in Texas! Oh my gosh. They were soooo good. All four of us kids loved her brownies so much. I am going to share her recipe with all of you. They should be in the Texas Hall of Fame, lol. Just make sure to follow directions carefully.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Made with simple ingredients, these fluffy, cake-like brownies melt in your mouth. They're similar to a Texas sheet cake. So, not a traditional fudge-like brownie, but equally delicious. Buttermilk helps to keep them super moist. The fudgy chocolate icing on top is wonderful. Have a glass of milk handy to wash a slice down.
