Ingredients For ~ mmmm-mmmm brownies ~

  • 1 c
    sugar plus 1 tablespoon
  • 2/3 c
    crisco shortening
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa, unsweetened
  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnurts

How To Make ~ mmmm-mmmm brownies ~

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease an 11 x 7 baking dish. In a large bowl, cream sugar and crisco. Add each additional ingredient one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in nuts and spread evenly into prepared pan. Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until pick comes out clean.

    Cool,and cut into squares or as my family does, eat them warm...either way they're scrumptious.
