Years ago I was looking for a hot chocolate recipe to mimic the one in the movie "Chocolat". I found this one. Tho' it doesn't have the spicy pepper that the movie's chocolate did and,of course, I have no idea what it actually tasted like, I discovered that by adding a halved jalapeno or a dried hot pepper to the water as it boils, you can get the kick as well.Remove the pepper to complete the process of making the hot chocolate. While it takes a little effort, it's so worth it!
