This is a recipe that I have made many times for large gatherings, they go very well with ice cream and a warm chocolate sauce. I hope you give them a try. If you can't find maltesers, malt balls are fine.......

How to Make Malteser Brownies

  • 2Melt chocolate & butter over simmering water ( I use a stainless steel bowl over small pot of water) cool slightly and add the vanilla. Set aside
  • 3Beat eggs & sugar untill well combined. Mix flour, baking powder, malt powder and salt
  • 4Add the chocolate mixture to eggs & sugar and mix to combine. Add the crushed maltesers to the dry ingredients and then add to chocolate mixture
  • 5Grease a 9x13 baking pan and pour in batter, bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into squares. Bet you can't eat just one!!....Enjoy
