This is a recipe from Betty Crocker and this is the first time I made it and it is very rich but very good. I hope you enjoy it and I thank Betty Crocker for such a great recipe.

  • 1 pkg
    ( 1 lb 1.5 oz) betty crocker chocolate chip cookie mix
  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 1
  • 1 c
    butterscotch chips
  • 1 c
    milk chocolate chips ir semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    flaked coconut
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1 can(s)
    ( 14 oz ) sweetened condensed milk ( not evaporated)

How to Make Luscious Layer Bars


  1. Heat oven to 350*
    Spray bottom of 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray
  2. In a large bowl, stir the cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms.
    Press dough into bottom of pan using your floured fingers
  3. Bake 15 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, coconut and walnuts.
    Open your can of condensed milk and carefully drizzle evenly with the condensed milk.
  4. Bake 30-35 minutes or until light golden brown.
    Cool completely, about 2 hours.
    Cut the bars into 9 rows by 4 rows or your desired size.
