Kickin Rum Balls

This is a combination of several recipes from this site. Not a kid friendly recipe. Each one is like a shot. First time i made them for a party they vanished,then people were wondering how they got so tipsy so fast on one or two drinks.

1 box
nilla wafers crushed
1 c
walnuts chopped or crushed (or any nuts you like)
1/2 c
sugar, granulated,powdered or splenda
2 Tbsp
cocoa powder
3 tsp
karo syrup, light
1/2 c
rum (or any liquor you prefer)
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
graham crackers, crushed
1/2 c
powdered sugar,or cocoa powder


1Add vanilla to rum set aside, or use captain morgans spiced rum. Combine nilla wafers,walnuts,cocoa powder,sugar.
2Add karo syrup and rum,mix well, if mixture is too watery add small amounts of graham cracker crumbs till mixture is a bit stiff.
Let sit at room temp for 35 mins uncovered.
3Shape into 1 inch balls or smaller.Roll in powdered sugar or cocoa powder
Store in airtight container.The longer they sit the stronger they get.
