My niece gave me this recipe a couple of years ago....She made it one year for Christmas and I couldn't stop eating it...So I asked her for her recipe...So now I make this for the holidays to go along with my other goodies... When she told me what it was called I thought she was joking....In fact that is why I am putting her name in front of the recipe name...

Ingredients

9 cups chex mix (rice)
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

How To Make jeanie's puppy chow

Step 1

Put Chex Mix in a large bowl Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.

Step 2

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over Chex Mix and coat all using a wooden spoon, with the chocolate, peanut butter, butter, vanilla mixture.
Step 3

Put into a large zip lock bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat.
Step 4

Spread mixture evenly on wax paper and allow to cool. Place in air tight container, such as tin or plastic container...
