Okay, normally I make everything from scratch, but I was in a hurry and my ex-hubby needed a dessert, so after talking this is what we came up with. We thought it would be really sweet but to our surprise the dark chocolate tones it down.

1 box ghiradelli dark chocolate brownie mix
1 can cream cheese frosting
1 can strawberry or cherry pie filling
- vegetable oil
- water, cold

How To Make imperial brownies

Step 1

Follow directions to make the brownies.

Step 2

Cool completely.
Step 3

Spread frosting over brownies.
Step 4

Spread pie filling over frosted brownies.
Step 5

Refrigerate overnight uncovered.
Step 6

Serve cold.
