Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, light
- 1/4 cup butter, cold
- 2 3/4 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
How To Make homemade hot fudge sauce

Step 1In a medium sauce pan, bring the cream just to a boil. Add the sugar and blend until melted.

Step 2Add the butter a little at a time until melted, then add the chips. Let them soften before folding into the mixture.

Step 3Stir in salt and vanilla until well blended. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Step 4Sauce will thicken as it cools. Tip: You can sub 1/4 tsp peppermint extract for the vanilla to make mint flavored sauce; 1/2 tsp raspberry or strawberry extract for fruit flavored sauces.
