I even like this "warm" well as my mother used to say "NEVER TRUST A SKINNY COOK" haha she was so clever.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar, or splenda
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups 1 % milk, or skim
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

How To Make homemade chocolate pudding

  • Step 1
    In heavy sauce pan combine, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt
  • Step 2
    gradually stir in milk
  • Step 3
    bring to a rolling boil over medium heat and boil 2 minutes or until thickened.
  • Step 4
    Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla
  • Step 5
    spoon into individual dessert dishes and chill
  • Step 6
    1/2 cup serving equals 196 calories 38 g carbohydrates 4 gm fat
  • Step 7
    may add 1 table spoon peanut butter at time the butter is added in. you will have to recalculate calories.
