I got this recipe from my Mom years and years ago. It's the only way I make brownies. I love it and maybe you will too.

3/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 - eggs
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa, unsweetened
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make hershey's cocoa deep dish brownies

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Combine butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs in a bowl. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Pour into a greased 8" square pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes.

Step 2

I usually bake mine between 35 and 40 minutes so they're chewy in the middle. It makes them less cake-like.
