My grandson Noah's big sister Hannah lovingly calls me 'Grammy Tammy'. Hannah loved my brownies so much, her mom called me as soon as they got home from my house one day and said "Hannah told me I HAD to make Grammy Tammy's brownies!" That is how these brownies got their name!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup melted butter or maragarine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder, unsweeted
- 1 cup semi-sweet mini chocloate chips

Step 1In a large mixing bowl cream together butter and sugar, then stir in vanilla extract. Add in eggs one at a time. Mix until all are well blended.

Step 2In a medium size bowl mix together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredient mixture. Mix well until all are incorporated. Do not over mix.

Step 3Spread into greased 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Check with toothpick for doneness. (Doubles well-Use 9x13 inch pan.)
